As soon as he regains consciousness, something is burning in his chest. He uncovers his chest to see a glowing magical tattoo (seal) burned into his skin. John tries to get out of the caf\u00e9, but to no avail. On the spot, John knows that he\u2019s not in the normal world but in a fantasy realm built by the Devil. He understands that he\u2019s in an alternate reality and universe.<\/span><\/p>\n John walks into the caf\u00e9 and sits on the sofa facing the one and only, the Devil himself \u2014 dressed in a black Prada suit, smoking an expensive cigar, and enjoying the moment while drinking red wine. John takes a closer look at the shining objects on the Devil\u2019s suit and sees several brooches on his shirt collar \u2014 from the all-seeing eye to the square and compass.<\/span><\/p>\n An argument erupts between John and the Devil, with John asking, \u201cWhat about Crowley, Roosevelt, Hoover?\u201d <\/strong>The Devil replies, \u201cI gave them all a chance, and they didn\u2019t disappoint me.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The devil wants John to be on his side to destroy humanity and bring chaos to the world, and what if all the people are exactly the same thing, what difference would it make. Then the Devil asks John if he ever went to heaven, and the devil says, \u201cOf course not, but let me tell you something, it\u2019s boring. No fun, no risk, no balance\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The Devil makes it clear that he wants John with him to bring balance to the world, offering him all the vices any human could desire. John rejects all of the Devil\u2019s temptations to lure him into becoming his right-hand man. But the Devil sits next to John and says, \u201cI think we should talk about your daughter.\u201d<\/strong> That\u2019s when John gets furious and wants to punch him \u2014 but this is the Devil\u2019s world, and he is far more powerful.<\/span><\/p>\n The Devil offers John a chance to save his daughter from cancer if he joins the Devil\u2019s army. John hesitates \u2014 then Gabriel enters the scene, shattering the Devil\u2019s plan.<\/span><\/p>\n Gabriel and the Devil fight, but it\u2019s clear that the Devil is much smarter, stronger, and even able to challenge Heaven\u2019s warrior. As they battle, the caf\u00e9 is destroyed \u2014 until the Devil\u2019s daughter, Synn, appears and stops the fight. She is twice as powerful as the two titans combined.<\/span><\/p>\n The Devil leaves the caf\u00e9, but not before giving John a warning that he\u2019ll be in touch.
